We’re excited to spotlight Jordan Tuckett, Executive Vice President of Operations at Concord Medical Group!
What is one brief story or example of how you’ve brought Practicing Excellence to life with your team?
I had found myself in a leadership slump. The day-to-day had become draining, and even as someone who’s usually the office “cheerleader,” I couldn’t shake it. I remember praying that I’d find my reason again.
It was during this difficult time that I was invited to attend a Practicing Excellence leadership training. At first, I almost viewed it as just another interruption, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The conversations about leadership reignited my passion and reminded me why I do what I do.
I left inspired, created a leadership workshop for my directors, and that momentum continues today. Now that Concord has partnered with Practicing Excellence, it’s been incredible to watch that same spark spread throughout our teams.
More than anything, it reminded me that even leaders need someone to pour into their cups. When we invest in our people, they show up differently for each other, for their teams, and ultimately for the patients and communities we serve.
