A Leadership Transition at Practicing Excellence

Dear friends and partners,

I founded Practicing Excellence with the deep belief that every clinician, leader, and team member deserves the opportunity to do their work with impact, purpose, and contribution to organizations, teams, and the patients we serve. The vision was not just to help individual care team members in their growth and development, but to use continuous skill-building across systems to render change. We have made great progress in applying human development to improve care for both patients and care teams. Now, it is time for our next phase as a company.

After 13 years of leading this organization, I have decided it is time to pass the baton to Gidon, who will now serve as President and CEO of Practicing Excellence. Gidon joined me on this journey nearly 9 years ago, and since day one, we have worked closely to shape and execute Practicing Excellence’s strategy. Not only is this role well earned, but his vision and ambition will lead our next chapter of growth, innovation, and service.

I want to be clear that I am not stepping away. I remain fully committed to our mission and our team. This transition allows me to focus more deeply on what I love most and where I can offer the greatest value: spending time directly with healthcare systems, supporting our partners, and advancing the utilization of human development to power change. It also allows Gidon to focus on what he does best, which is driving strategy, building teams, and delivering value to our partners.

Together, we remain focused on fueling innovation, expanding our business operations, and, most importantly, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value and results to you, our partners.

Thank you for your ongoing trust and partnership. We look forward to continuing this journey with you.

With appreciation,

Stephen Beeson, MD
